About WisTree

WisTree is a collaborative knowledge management platform built to help Indian families capture, preserve, and share the voices, memories, and wisdom of their elders — across generations and across the world. As families spread between cities and continents, the stories that once travelled from grandparent to grandchild over a cup of tea are slipping away. WisTree exists to keep them alive.

Through a simple tree-based mapping interface, family members can record spoken stories in their original language, automatically transcribe and translate them, weave in recipes, photos, and reactions, and lock messages inside a Future Vault to be opened on a wedding day, an eighteenth birthday, or a milestone yet to come. Whether it is a grandmother's lullaby, a father's first-job memory, or a great-aunt's secret pickle recipe, WisTree turns fleeting voices into a living family archive that grows over time.
